Parts of Speech কি

Parts of Speech বলতে বাক্যের অংশ বুঝায়, অর্থাৎ বাক্যে ব্যবহৃত শব্দগুলো তাদের ভূমিকা অনুযায়ী বিভিন্ন শ্রেণিতে বিভক্ত। বিভিন্ন শ্রেণির শব্দগুলোকে parts of speech বলা হয়, যা বাক্যে অর্থ প্রদান করে।

Parts of speech is a category to which a word is assigned in accordance with its syntactic functions. In English the main parts of speech are noun, pronoun, adjective, determiner, verb, adverb, preposition, conjunction, and interjection.  This definition is taken the Oxford Languages Dictionary

এ বাক্যটিতে “A” থেকে “Z” পর্যন্ত ২৬টি letter আছে। বাক্যটির প্রতিটি word একটি part of speech হিসেবে কাজ করছে।
